Not pretty to look at from the outside, but do not let this put you off. Always get a fantastic meal and warm welcome

The naan bread is to die for, and the curries are delicious. We ate in, where there's a few tables, and you have to bring your own alcohol - which is fine by me. A great experience.

Excellent food. The restaurant is a little shabby (I've seen much worse though) but the food more than makes up for it. Friendly welcoming staff too. Really wish I lived nearer - but Oban to London is probably outside their delivery zone.

This was a real find. Only 5 tables, maybe a little shabby but who cares when it is clean and when the food is this good. It was exceptional and the best Indian food we have ever eaten. No bar licence but I understand you can bring your own. The service was very friendly and impeccable. All at a very reasonable cost. Honestly, I wish this restaurant was near to where I live. Oban, you are so lucky.

Staff rude, chairs are ripped really not a nice place to sit let alone eat, the food was disgusting ordered a chicken tikka what i got was most definitely not a tikka, avoid this place look around for another restaurant.

After a day's long ( 65 miles) bike ride (on our way from Dover to Durness) we were desperate for a curry. This place was just the tonic! Simple tasty dishes served in a small, unpretentious and clean restaurant. I started chatting to the owner and it transpires that he had moved up from Whitechapel, east London to Oban 10 years ago...my place of work for the last 25 years was Whitechapel! Small world. Friendly service, no fuss, tasty food at very reasonable prices.

Fantastic service had young child with me who would not try the food they went out to buy in something espeshaly for her above and beyond to please the little lady. Thank you so much for such a wonderful service.

First time in this place, ordered lamb karahi and mushroom rice for take away and i can honestly say its the best takeaway I've had. Will be returning!

Decent food. Fresh ingredients and taste delicious. I love their king prawns special dish. Would recommend for small party for dining In as the restaurant only have 4 tables and can fit only 16 people at most.

This place was simply amazing. The owner took real good care of us and recommended the chicken "house special" (unbelievable flavour, so tasty). The lamb was also great. We got carried away and asked too much food. We took it away in a doggie bag and then when we had it for lunch (during our walk around Iona island) was even better than the night before. The service was very, very attentive. And as we were having dinner plenty people were coming to take their supper away.

The best Indian food in Oban by far. Really tasty food, good sized portions and reasonably priced. It's not got a bar, but you can BYOB if you are sitting in. All in all a great wee place to eat

Really tasty food. We decided to sit in rather than get a takeaway, it added an extra £4.50 onto our £24.00 bill than if we had bought a takeaway. Take your own alcohol as not licenced. But you can purchase soft drinks and coffee. Small place, but nice!

Had a takeaway tonight and ordered online, we got the confirmation email and they said 25 minutes, food was ready when I turned up. Food was fantastic and the chicken pakora was amazing! Great value for money and staff very nice and friendly! Will defiantly be back!

We were staying in Oban for a few days and read the reviews on this place so had to try it out and we were not dissapointed . On foot we eventually found it tucked away from the main tourist stretch of Oban . It is a lovely little place with 5 tables we were there within half hour of it opening. The staff was very friendly and the services was really quick not waiting around. And the food was excellent tasty and hot I am so glad we tried it for ourselves and will definitely be back next time we are in Oban on holiday. Go and try it for yourselves you won't be dissapointed .

Extremely thick aloo paratha and smelly paneer. Oily oily biryani. But, very good service.

Small dinning room, but food fab! Nice staff. Don't let the look out you off. Food was great. Bring your own bottle though no licence.

Amazing food

Worst biryani I ever had..It was not a biryani at all.. a think they served lemon rice instead of biryani and it was not tasting good.. I don't advice anyone to visit this restaurant..never..

Very good quality Indian food at a reasonable price. But be warned no alcohol so is bring your own bottle.

don't go anywhere else in Oban for curry.. this place is the dogs bollocks. any other places in Oban for curry are shite and a waste of money, especially Kebabish..

Really, really nice curries here and plenty of options too. Also great in that if you like spice you'll actually get spicy food. Relatively quick service too if you're getting your order delivered to you and the staff are always pleasant and easy to talk to.

Cracking Indian, we both very much enjoyed this place.Great authentic quality food, lovely staff.It's very small though. Do phone and book incase full, they only have e tables, circa 12 folks.
